i must say, i am VERY excited to be writing this blog post, and if you are wondering why, wonder no longer, because
for christmas, i recieved...drumroll please....



a canon rebel t1i!!!!! now i'm sorry if I blab about this for a bit, feel free to skip ahead a bit haha. The original plan was to ask my parents (next year) to combine christmas, my 18th birthday, and graduation present into getting a dslr. But since that is a really long time to wait and I am extremely impatient, I thought I'd ask for one and not expect it at all. Honestly I know that it was not cheap, and my parents do not have a ton of extra money floating around, so I am SO appreciative to them. so to my parents, THANK YOU. best gift ever. I am so excited to use this baby....

at the chictopia10 conference almost a year ago, we got a voucher for the 'chictopia dress' from modcloth. i haven't worn it since then, but ive realized that i do really like it a lot so i should wear it more often! maybe on new years eve..anyways it is WAY more shiny in person. like SO SO shiny. my grandma and brother think it looks like a trash bag. awesome.

i really didnt get much else besides the camera, which is TOTALLY okay with me. i got a couple fashion magazines, a new ipod alarm clock (which vibrates the bed to wake you up-so good since i am rubbish at waking up in the morning), a few forever 21 and barnes & noble giftcards, and some fuzzy socks.

Okay, it is finally SNOWING outside, and snow is my favorite thing ever so I need to go enjoy it! merry christmas everyone, i hope you are having an excellent holiday! and most importantly, happy birthday Jesus!!!
